Tushar Sharma is a researcher at Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens, Greece. The topics related to software design and architecture, refactoring, software quality (more specifically code and design quality), and technical debt define his career interests.

He has worked with Siemens Research and Technology Center, Bangalore, India for more than 7 years. He co-authored the book “Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt”. He has also co-authored two Oracle Java certification books. He has developed Designite which is a software design quality assessment tool used by many C# developers and researchers. He is an IEEE Senior Member.

Speaking Experience

I have delivered talks at many international conferences. These venues include GIDS, Bangalore (2015), DevWeek, London (2015), DevOps Pro, Vilnius (2016), Agile in the City, London (2016), ASAS, Arnhem (2016), and FOSDEM, Brussels (2016).
